Jenna Victoria
Jenna Victoria is the pen name of the chairperson for Long Island Romance Writers’ 2010 Luncheon: Shining the Light on Romance and is a newly-elected Board-Member-At-Large for the chapter.
Jenna has been enthralled with romance novels since reading and re-reading legendary Harlequin author Mary Wibberley’s “Beloved Enemy” and “Laird of Gaela” at the age of ten. Then, after reading Wibberley’s “To Writers With Love, On Writing Romantic Novels” book 20 years later, Jenna’s addiction to writing for the romance genre was irrevocably sealed.
While Jenna writes with a distinct contemporary flair, she also thoroughly enjoys reading historical romance and traditional “alpha hero” romance novels as well.
She has been published in newspapers and magazines and is currently working on a series of 3 inspirational “works in progress” aka WIPs which are suited for lines such as the Harlequin/Steeple Hill “Love Inspired Suspense” imprint and White Rose Press. Her novels feature faith, hope, chaste love, and a strong spiritual challenge for the characters along with a hint of danger!
In 2010, Jenna also joined the American Christian Fiction Writers organization and is taking part in several online writing courses to grow her writing abilities. She looks forward to pitching her book series to agents and editors at the LIRW luncheon on June 11, 2010.
