Esha A.
Esha A. is a New York based CPA by day and an emerging author of timeless romance and cozy mysteries by night.
When she’s not navigating complex corporate tax forms and Excel spreadsheets, Esha escapes into stories shaped by quiet longing, strong character arcs, and fascinating tales of redemption.
While romance is her go-to for reading, her favorite genre of TV has to be cozy mysteries, especially ones with beautiful yet frustrating will-they-won’t-they romances.
Currently working on her debut novel, Esha hopes to create a tale that brings together all of these elements and will have readers curling up under their favorite blanket with a cup of tea (or a glass of wine).

R. L Dunn
R.L. Dunn is a bestselling author of romantic suspense, blending grit, heat, and heart. A retired EMS provider and lifelong storyteller, she’s the current President of Long Island Romance Writers. Known for the Chase Security Series, Robin is now returning to that world with the thrilling Chase Legacy Series. She lives on Long Island’s Gold Coast with her husband, family, and a couple of beloved furry companions.

Effie Kammenou
Effie Kammenou is a first-generation Greek-American who lives on Long Island. When she's not writing or posting recipes on her food blog, you can find her entertaining family and friends or traveling for 'research.' Her two series, The Gift Saga Trilogy and The Meraki Series, are steeped in tradition, history, romance, and an appreciation for family. She’s a member of the Romance Writers of America and the Women Fiction Writers Association. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater Arts from Hofstra University.

Meara Platt
Meara Platt is a USA Today and award winning author with over seventy books published in historical romance and historical romantasy. She is a long-time resident of Long Island and a long-time member of LIRW.

John Sauer
Author John Sauer drew inspiration for his debut romance novel from his life-long love of music and guitars ... and those gleaming custom tour buses that are the home-away-from-home for touring musicians.
John is an avid romance reader (yes, even men read them). He can’t resist a compelling story about two good people struggling to find their way to love.

Ruth Vincent
Ruth Vincent is a writer and game designer. She is the author of the Changeling P.I. fantasy series, published by Harper Voyager Impulse, beginning with her debut novel, Elixir.
Ruth recently wrote an interactive fiction game (like a choose-your-own-adventure story, but for adults!) Changeling Charade, available now with Heart’s Choice Games.
She lives on Long Island with her family and a cockatoo who thinks he’s a dog. Learn more at www.ruthvincent.com

Patty Blount
Patty Blount grew up quiet and invisible in Queens, NY, but found her superpower writing smart and strong characters willing to fight for what’s right. Today, she’s the award-winning author of edgy, emotional contemporary romance. Powered by way too much chocolate, Patty gives a voice to characters society would prefer to ignore…characters facing situations like rape (SOME BOYS, 2014, SOMEONE I USED TO KNOW, 2018), bullying (SEND, 2012), and grief (NOTHING LEFT TO BURN, 2015). She enjoys hearing from her readers so visit her website or follow her on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram. Her latest YA title, THE SMELL OF SMOKE AND ASH, was a 2025 NERFA winner!

Melissa Goldsmith
Melissa Goldsmith resides on Long Island and is the author of the Guardian of the Elements series, a romantic fantasy based on characters enhanced with gifts from the four elements. She is currently working on a romantic comedy, including an hilarious, eccentric cast of characters. When she is not writing, she loves spending time with family and friends, and especially with her dog, Obi.

Lauren Nappi
Lauren is an English teacher in NYC and lives on Long Island with her husband and their dog. She loves binge watching shows, the color pink, and red wine. She believes in magic and love at first sight. You can find her reading 800 page romance or fantasy novels or at a hockey game. She’s also on Instagram @LaurenNappiWrites.

Nika Rhone
Nika Rhone spent her childhood wearing out library cards as she read her way through the extraordinary worlds far beyond her small hometown on Long Island, NY. By her teens, her imagination was taking her places all on its own, forcing her to learn how to type (badly) so she could get those stories down on paper. After a long love affair with science fiction and fantasy, she finally discovered romance, fell head-over-heels, and now spends her days crafting happily-ever-afters for the characters who still tell their stories faster (and better) than she can type them. Her series include the Boulder Bodyguards, Boulder Beaumonts, and Wounded Warrior Legacy.

Lauren Smith
Lauren Smith is a veterinarian by day (and sometimes night). She writes contemporary romances about veterinarians. Her first novel, "For the Birds," is currently on submission and was a finalist last year for the Georgia Romance Writers’ Prepublished Maggie award in the contemporary romance category.

Leslie Vollard
Leslie Vollard is a historical romance author whose work spans from the medieval period to the early 20th century. Romance reigns supreme in her steamy novels about how love conquers all. Leslie lives in Long Island with her delightfully nerdy husband and cat. She loves gardening, baking, and reading love poems in dead languages.
